Saturday in Virginia

It's November and it's gorgeous outside. This type of day is one of the reasons I love living here. It feels more like mid September even though it's mid November. And it's so nice out it's like the world knows that Jason is feeling better. He is!! Whoo hoo! Last weekend was a wash so I think this one will be better. Gosh he's been sick for almost two weeks it seems. Anyway I super excited he's feeling better! Fun times Jason, welcome back!

I remember this face! But I haven't seen it since last week. Jason has been in bed since Friday and after getting worse over the weekend - went to the doctor today. He's got an upper respiratory infection and got some antibiotics and cough syrup. He can barely talk too. Ugh. We've missed out on every social function and have been eating lots of soup. Sorry again to those we missed this weekend. Fun times Jason. Get better soon :)

The on-air light is "on"

...but I've only managed to play Angry Birds Halloween on my phone and day dream about my vanilla yogurt in the fridge. ( This time it won't be expired. Yay!)
So, my daily live show is over, and we have now arrived at the portion of my day reserved for voice tracking. Smoke and mirrors everyone. Sorry, but it's not live radio all the time.

Anyway, I'm distracted in thought. A radio colleague stopped by today from the old XM world. What a blast from the past. I'm thankful everyday to have survived the merger and be a part of this ever changing entertainment company. I really am thankful every single day.

Now, time to talk into the mic.
